My name is Pema Wangchen and also I am doing a master of business informatics (MBI) at ICL Graduate School. I have ever been a great admirer of the convergence of business and technology and the same has come to inform my academic and professional career thus far. I have had my undergraduate education in Bachelor of Computer Applications before joining this program. I was employed in various IT and Software related companies in Bhutan and got good experiences working at those places. Such integration of academic education and work experience has been the driving force that powered my interests to utilize technology breakthroughs in addressing some of the most challenging business questions and bringing organizations efficiency to a new level.
In an effort to learn more and also plan my career, I have written a Personal and Professional Learning Goals (PPLG) framework that will help me develop as a professional. This model captures my ambitions that include developing major skills and competences as well as pursuing specific career goals. The PPLG will complement my ongoing degree in the Master of Business Informatics (MBI) degree programme and the desire to contribute something significant in the realm of business technology.
Mr. Pema is a sincere and humble person who always tries to help others and finds it difficult to say no. He follows instructions without hesitation, though this sometimes leads others to underestimate his potential. Despite that, he is hardworking and dependable. His background in IT from his undergraduate studies was a great asset to our group. He played a key role in building our website for the project management assignment, and his technical skills made a big difference. I truly enjoyed working with him, and his dedication, teamwork, and support added great value to the success of our project.
